Edge News: Hidden Sources and Topics do not stay hidden
The News feed on the Edge Home page has a settings feature that allows you to select topics to promote or to eliminate. Further, the story banners that appear on the Home page (though not the News page itself) allow you to click on the lower right to hide more stories from that source. Yet on all my computers, home and office, hidden sources and banned topics reappear. I have clicked to eliminate gaming stories, yet I still get them. I have hidden Fox News or other sources repeatedly, yet they keep coming back as well. This topic was a thread a couple of years ago; that is long enough that this bug should have been fixed by now. How do I get rid of topics and sources that I do not want to see? Don't just tell me to go to settings--I have already done that! The problem is that those settings seem ineffective. And why don't those little headlines on the News page allow you to hide anything? It seems silly that you can do this (clearly, not too effectively) on the Home page, yet not on the News page itself. Why is this so buggy, and how do I get it fixed?

- JourneymanMCIron ContributorI have the same problem, both in Edge and on the desktop. I have reported it a couple of times, using feedback in edge and on the desktop, it seems to continue. I've stopped using MSN News, both in Edge and on the desktop, I'm getting my news elsewhere - unfortunately, as it seems like a great feature.

Hi Ann_Moyer
Alt+Shift+I, please give feedback there and add diagnostic data, it will go directly to the Edge team.
There is a Microsoft News application in it you can hide providers (but not all)

I have opened Dev Tools but I don't see anywhere to send information about a problem.
I have that app; it is buggy too.
I am now in my office using my desktop computer, and I see that all my News selections have disappeared completely. It's as if I never identified any prefereces or hid sources, even though I did both just a couple of days ago.

Yes, if on all computers you are logged into Edge with the same Microsoft account, then synchronization should work - it definitely bothers!
Please submit feedback, open the Edge settings and at the bottom expand the tab (help and feedback) this is the right place to report this issue.
in the Application you can add your own interests (specify in detail what you are interested in, then it will be the information you need, the rest you can ignore without having to scroll
I will add that here in MTC you have two different profiles, which means that they are also not the same Microsoft accounts, perhaps this is the cause of your problems?
