Edge Canary freezes
Hello
Since some version of Canary, on pages consuming resources (more than 800MB for example), Canary freezes for a few moments and returns to normal
It also does if I open a new tab sometimes and I also have the message "Edge is not responding", but not all the time
Canary's problem?
Thanks
PS: when Canary freezes, I can do anything else on my PC without problem
Already reported in feedback since the 1st time

Don't know if this relates to the same issue, but since changing to v89 engine I've got massive problems with freezing pages in either Dev and Canary (doesn't happen on Stable Channel).
Some examples to reproduce:
- when trying to scroll in dropdowns (eg category dropdown on amazon)
- when using datepickers
- when using translate.google.com and then hitting the back button several times
- when hitting the back button on youtube after playing a video
The browser hangs for 10-30 sec, saying "Edge is not responding", then returns to normal behaviour again. This also happens on Google Chrome Canary, so I assume it's some bug in the Chromium core.
And yes, I disabled all extensions and also set Hardware Acceleration to Off for testing, but thar doesn't change the freezing effect.

No longer able to include an attachment with feedback, I post here the freeze problem (not responding)
This bug appeared within 24 hours and is still not resolved almost 5 weeks later...
- You might need to fully reinstall your Edge canary.
I'm testing on Version 89.0.752.0 (Official build) canary (64-bit)
and I can include attachments with feedback.

Yes same thing, this bug appeared recently, no problem with the stable
MS must do what is necessary.
And with the latest version of Canary, I have a new bug that appeared, the outlook.com page refreshes itself (4 or 5 times) when I open it from a shortcut

MS must do what is necessary. They are doing "something", but if the bug is annoying for you, you can switch to a more stable channel.
no one should expect Canary to be bug-free and work as good as stable channel.
- tistouBronze ContributorAlways the problem, indicated by the feedback
- tistouBronze ContributorAlways the problem for me... 😞
- Say it a couple of more times maybe it will be fixed sooner.
this is like spamming. if everyone did this when they posted a topic about a problem and it wasn't fixed in each canary version, the forum would be dead.

Still not solved the problem, really annoying this problem...
- I know, just send feedback after each update you receive and it doesn't get fixed
