Edge Beta crashing as of Jan 20, 2023 after update i guess
Edge Beta is crashing after 5 to 10 minutes of opening. Started Jan 20, 2023 late. Disabled the Edge WinView2 or whatever that is but didn't help. I have Edge standard open and there are no issues. Firefox isn't crashing either. I have searched high and low but don't see anything out there. I will just use another browser for now and wait to see if things change in a couple of days.

It appears to be working now. I was connected last night and left it on overnight. Still connected this morning. So whatever was causing it is gone.
- Same here. I tried uninstalling and then installing again. Reset all settings. Didn't help. It kept closing unexpectedly after 5 to 10 minutes.
- Running MacOS Monterey 12.6.2 updated browser to 111.0.1633.0 late yesterday and it is still running
- So no one at MS runs Edge beta for more than 10 mins. This is an easy to replicate issue.

This problem was triggered by a server-side configuration change which was rolled back.

The latest build version (110.0.1587.22) no longer crashes.

Even here in this moment Versão 110.0.1587.22 (Compilação oficial) beta (64 bits)
as of midnight 23 January, it has been stable again.... this morning at 11 am, 24 January still open and on!
- Same. Cannot use Beta if it continually closes every 5 to 10 minutes. I am using the stable build until the beta receives an update to fix this bug. Any response from anyone at MS about this?

- Eric_LawrenceIn virtually all cases, code fixes go to all platforms at the same time, so whenever you get the latest version (edge://version), you'll have the same code as on other platforms. Similarly, ECS flag updates all go out at the same time, but because of how the client checks these, it may be several hours before you see the change between different computers.
Have you verified that the command line argument workaround works? If it doesn't, can you share an Uploaded Crash Report ID?
Still crashed for me this morning, after freezing first. Anyone know if they'll notify us when we receive the fix, or will it just stop crashing? (Like when we open Beta and it says we've been updated to the latest version). Have switched to using either Chrome or the stable Edge browser in the interim.

Eric_Lawrence Beta is "stable" now.
It just seems the experimental config flags from the server took a bit of time to apply to my client. Are you able to divulge what caused the issue at all? Thanks!
