Download "open" option is not working

Recently, I am no longer able to open a file in a download box.

 

When I click Open, nothing happens. The download option is still open, but I cannot seem to interact with the Open button at all. Save as still works normally. 

 

I have tried repairing and rebooting Edge, which did not fix the problem. I use this feature quite a lot, so I'm hoping to be able to fix it.

  • I'm not able to reproduce this in current Canary builds; what version number are you seeing this in?

      josh_bodner Thank you for the reply, but I have found the solution. It was a problem with the %temp% folder having no permission setting for any user for some reason. It works normally once I set new permissions.
