Dev Channel update to 114.0.1807.1 is live
Hello Insiders! Today, we are announcing the release of build 114.0.1807.1 to the Dev channel. Mobile devices will get the Dev update at a later date. This update contains a variety of fixes and new features. For more details on the changes, please take a moment to read through the highlights below. Additionally, we would like to draw your attention to our latest update post about Workspaces consumer preview availability.
Increased availability in Edge Workspaces consumer preview
Added features:
- Added CTRL + SHIFT + / shortcut for Sidebar auto-hide/always show.
- WebView2:
- Added experimental Profile Autofill/Password Autosave
Improved reliability:
- Android:
- Fixed browser crash related to autofill.
- Enterprise:
- Fixed browser crash when resigning in with an AAD account on Android.
Changed behavior:
- Fixed Auto-hide sidebar button not working.
- Fixed Sidebar pane not rendering properly.
- Fixed pinned Collection, History, and Favorites pane not displaying correctly when Sidebar is set to auto-hide mode.
- iOS:
- Fixed dark mode not working in some sites.
- Android:
- Fixed dark mode caused some web pages to be blank.
- WebView2:
- Enterprise:
- Fixed the blank Profile preferences settings page on macOS.

Overall appearance (dark/light) is not applied to contents on launch. Re-selecting it can enable dark/light mode but within a session.
This occurs on LinuxMint 21.1 and Kubuntu 23.04.In case of LinuxMint 21.1

atlanto Thanks for the screenshots. If you haven't already, I would like you to submit feedback with diagnostic data from the browser for our engineering teams to investigate.
- Click on the three dots menu button.
- Go to Help and feedback.
- Click on Send feedback.
- Fill out the form.
- Include your email address and make sure Allow (recommended) is selected for Send diagnostic data to Microsoft.
- Once completed, click on Send.

edge261 We would like to get additional diagnostic data from the browser about this. Please follow the steps below.

In the address bar, type edge://media-internals and press enter.

Click on the three dots menu button.

Go to Help and feedback.

Click on Send feedback.

In the Describe what's happening, type HEVC and AV1 are not working

Include your email address and make sure Allow (recommended) is selected for Send diagnostic data to Microsoft.

Click on Record my problem button.

Put a checkmark on I agree to send diagnostic data message and click on Start recording.

Record the issue and then click on Stop recording.

Click on Save and include.

Go back to the edge://media-internals tab and click on Copy all to clipboard.

Press CTRL+C to copy.

Open Notepad and paste (CTRL+V) the data.

Save the file as media-internals.txt.

On the Send Feedback dialog, click on Attachments.

Click on Choose file to upload.

Attach the media-internals.txt file.
-
Click on Save and include.

Click on Send.
