MicrosoftDev channel update to 107.0.1387.2 is now live!
Hello again insiders, earlier this week we released the newest build to the Dev channel. We have added new features, fixed current issues, and improved reliability. We have also changed the behavior of other items as well, as we do weekly.
Added Features:
- Added the RestoreOnStartupUserURLsEnabled policy
Improved reliability:
- Improved the UI for trending search on mobile
Changed behavior:
- Enabled new SmartScreen client on Mac
- Fixed an issue where the "File is not selected" text was truncated in Japanese when text scaling was applied
- Fixed an issue where AAD users could not sign into the browser
- Fixed crash on password imports from the Settings page
Thank you all again for helping us with versions for 107, we could not do it without you. More updates are coming soon and thank you for all the feedback to make things better.
ever since the last update Edge is crashing on start up. it seems to look like a SYNC issue:
it works fine if I delete ~/.config/microsoft-edge-dev and ~/.cache/microsoft-edge-dev and don't try to set up SYNC after logging in.

- OK, I tried installing an older stable an for some reason the error persists. it's crazy how much I have grown to depend on this on my Fedora laptop while working... it really has been a game changer!

Hi LisaS,
Just wondering if your team is aware of any issues with the DevTools on the Mac?
In last 2-3 builds on the Dev Channel, we seem to be having issues debugging our Angular App code using the Edge DevTools
We are having seeing following issues -
1. Our components either cannot be found when pressing CMD P and typing in a name.
2. The can be found, but selecting the component lands you in the transpiled javascript rather than the actual source found in the sourcemap.
3. The component is found and can be edited normally.
We have not changed anything in our build process and debugging was fine before. Furthermore, opening the same site in either Chrome or Safari allows normal debugging.

LisaS When will the weather widget full screen feature be released

Although I've submitted feedback, I'm curious as to whether anyone else has experienced this issue since installing the latest Dev build. If I minimize the browser and am away from my laptop for ~15+ minutes, when I restore the browser, only the tab that I was focused on at the time of minimizing is showing. Although it isn't related, I don't use sleeping tabs.
I discovered that if I open a new tab (for example, Bing from the Favorites Bar), the "hidden tabs" are immediately restored.The issue I reported on 21Oct appears to have been resolved since the update to Edge Dev 108.0.1462.2. Multiple times, I've left the tabs minimized for over an hour and when restored all of the open tabs were showing.
