Application Sidebar disappeared
The application sidebar on the right-hand side disappeared about a week ago and I cannot find a reason or explanation why.
In Settings\Appearance I've turned on Show Sidebar and Allow Sidebar to show notifications. In edge://flags I've set Web App Sidebar to Enabled.
On a tab right-click I get the menu item 'Add tab to sidebar' but nothing happens. I've disabled all extension and reset the browser, nothing. Anyone else have this problem?
- ExodoreCopper ContributorSame for me. The sidebar has disappeared along with the setting.
Version 106.0.1370.37 (Official build) (64-bit)
Version 106.0.1370.30 (Official build) beta (64-bit) - chadbrackBrass ContributorSame experience here, including in Canary and Dev releases.
- gaius44bceCopper ContributorYes, same for me on Dev.
- josh_bodnerMicrosoftThe Web App sidebar flag shouldn't affect the sidebar in the rest of the browser. It looks like enabling the setting works for me in the latest Canary; are you still having problems with this?
- chadbrackBrass ContributorYes, not available (for me) yet. I'm on today's Canary build Version 105.0.1339.0.
- josh_bodnerMicrosoftJust to clarify, the setting itself is gone, or it's just not working?
- ShawnICopper ContributorSame issue here. I've had the "Show sidebar" setting turned on for the last few updates for the 105 Beta, but the actual sidebar has never appeared. There's no sidebar on my 105 Stable either.
- DadbartCopper ContributorSame here on both Stable and Dev. I have the option in Settings, Appearance. But it does nothing. KB shortcut does nothing. If I highlight text on a page I do get the Search in Sidebar option and it does work. But if I right click a tab I do not have the Add to Sidebar, just Add to Favorites and Collections. I see this is common from the posts. Any word on what we can do?
