Migrating 400 GB of on-premises mailboxes to 365 with very slow internet

Hello,

are there any tools to copy the data of on-premises Exchange Server, bring the copy to a computer with a normal connection speed and then do the migration?

If not, what are other possibilities except moving the server physically and getting a better internet connection?

Cheers,
Roman

You cannot Migrate a 400 GB Mailbox to Office 365

Assuming its a 40 GB mailbox and an extra 0 was a typo. You can use New-MailboxExportRequest in Exchange OnPrem to export the mailbox data into a PST file and then copy paste this pst file on a PC that has a better internet connection.

Connect that PC to Exchange Online using Remote PowerShell and then use New-MailboxImportRequest to import the data in pst file to a Newly created mailbox in Office 365

400 GB is the cumulative size of all mailboxes. The biggest one is about 50 GB, if I remember correctly. What is the maximum size of 365 mailbox?

Thank you very much for the hints on command lets.
