How to extend software inventory?

Similar to https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/configmgr/core/clients/manage/inventory/extend-hardware-inventory can this method be used to extend software inventory attributes collected.  Specifically I want to return 'Title' for ttf font files

    There is nothing more that  I can truly add to Jeff's comment but can I ask why? I'm really curious as to the need for this info?

    Short answer: no. Longer answer: software inventory isn't configured via .mof files like hardware inventory is. I think you'll have to do some custom scripting to accomplish what you're after.
