Space layout
If I'm not sign-in (which is usual situation now), I see on the top of the space former description and search bar. Which works. Perhaps from cache, have no idea.
But it disappears as soon as I sign-in. Desirably to return it back by default.

We are in the middle of trying to get all the headers updates so it might still be the case on some boards. Is it possible your browser extension that faking a dark mode for MTC is doing it?
Btw.. Dark mode can now be done on the new UI and we have that on our backlog tooAllen , you are right, but partially. I use Vivaldi, dark mode is native setting for it. In Vivaldi header and search bar appear for a second on refresh and gone. Tried in dark, light and auto modes. That's only if logged-in, with sign-out header exists.
Tried in Edge (light mode, have no idea how to shift on dark in it), here headers work.
That will be great if dark mode will be in MTC settings. Usually I prefer light mode, but now in MTC you have so many empty space that without dark mode I get tired quite fast.
