Hi BrynJones, if the NAS drives are thrashing during real-time updates, I would first confirm whether the NAS is indexing, syncing, snapshotting, or rebuilding in the background. With the copy tool, use logging and conservative retry settings so you can see exactly which files are being touched repeatedly. Also check whether timestamps, permissions, or archive bits are changing, because that can make a copy job think files need to be recopied even when content did not really change.
