Microsoft will never ask for your credit card or password over an unsolicited call.
Option 1 – Request a call/chat from Microsoft (Recommended)
- Go to: https://support.microsoft.com
- Click Get Help
- Type: “Account locked or payment not accepted”
- Click Contact Support
- Choose:
- Product: Microsoft Account / Billing
- Issue type: Payment & Account
- Select Chat or Request a call
This is the fastest and safest method.
Option 2 – Direct link for account/billing problems
Go here:
https://account.microsoft.com/account
Sign in and select:
- Payment & billing
- Can’t add a payment method
- Region mismatch
