"No longer have access"

"Sorry, looks like you no longer have access to this feature. Please check again in a few days.""

I receive this message on my Bing App now.

I switched to MS Edge, downloaded Bing app and switched to Bing search and Bing wallpapers ahead of the release of Bing Chat. As such, I was granted access very early into the release of Bing Chat - now I am all of a sudden no longer able to access it across any account (personal or work).

There was no warning or reason, this is quite frustrating and disappointing. I can't rely on a service that will cut me off without rhyme or reason whenever it wants.. Please can a member of the team or community help me to understand why this has happened?

  • James1335 I have the same issue -- it's been a few weeks.

My guess is that there is a problem with the waitlist mechanism. I've noticed that it's possible to sign up for the waitlist after already having been through it and approved, since the signup button appears when you visit Bing with other browsers (and used to appear when you visit the mobile app as well).

Thus my fear is that we wound up both on the waitlist and approved at the same time, and therefore are failing a boolean check that assumes that if you're on the waitlist you don't yet have access.

    Just a guess, though.
