Im in the EEA with the DMA rules and the start menu is still giving bing results
so i have an american built computer which still has things like edge on it and unable to be uninstalled. the other issue is it is still giving me bing results in the start menu and search menu. it also gives bing highlights and other things around the system. I have no option to change this to google or remove it all together.
the os was fully updated before shipped and so its w11 version 22631.3374 I did turn on "Get the latest updates as soon as they’re available" as instructed by https://blogs.microsoft.com/eupolicy/2024/03/07/microsoft-dma-compliance-windows-linkedin/ that article however it did not find any other updates.
please give me a tool to make this update to be in compliance with DMA laws

If the computer is new, the manufacturer customizes the OS and should be able to assist you in tuning the OS. Please reach out to your OEM & Seller for support.- IoTGirl

You do have the choice to remove it from the Windows built-In Search either through settings or editing the registry

I turned it off because it ate up too much of my bandwidth and I found it distracting when they animated it.
