Here's what changed in June 2022:

Australia metadata service in public preview

The Azure Virtual Desktop metadata database located in Australia is now in public preview. This allows customers to store their Azure Virtual Desktop objects and metadata within a database located within our Australia geography, ensuring that the data will only reside within Australia. For more information, see our blog post.

Intune user configuration for Windows 11 Enterprise multi-session VMs in public preview

Deploying Intune user configuration policies from Microsoft Endpoint Manager admin center to Windows 11 Enterprise multi-session virtual machines (VMs) on Azure Virtual Desktop is now in public preview. In this preview, you can configure the following:

  • User scope policies using the Settings catalog.
  • User certificates via Templates.
  • PowerShell scripts to run in the user context.

For more information, see our blog post.

Teams media optimizations for macOS now generally available
