AVD Hostpool RDP Properties Fullscreen / Window
We are currently testing AVD and I have a question regarding this.
When I set the Screen Mode setting on the host pool to "The remote session will appear in a windows", it does not work. All clients that connect to AVD start in fullscreen.
AVD runs with Windows 10 Enterprise (Personal Desktop). The Remote Desktop Client is the latest version, I have also tried the latest Insider version.
Only if I turn off the default settings in the RDClient and then disable "Start in full screen" the session is started in window mode, but also maximized, which is in principle again almost fullscreen.
Even if desktop size is specified, this leads to no change.
What am I doing wrong?

Hey,
i believe this never got addressed. Regardless what you specify in the RDP settings of the hostpool, the sessions still starts in full screen.
Is there anyone who made this work?

You need to set Multiple displays to "Don't enable multiple display support", then you can configure screen mode, smart sizing and dynamic resolution. Some months ago also "not configured" was possible but this setting now resets to "Enable multiple display support (default)" after saving the settings.

This post is quite old, but we're experiencing the same issues.
Settings made in the Azure portal for the RDP Settings / Display settings aren't respected by the RDP App (Store App and MSIX), nor by the Windows App.The sessions are always starting in full screen.
Are there any hints how to make this working?
