Purview Integration with MS Fabric (Scanner)
Hi Everyone,
Facing issue in scanning Lakehouse Delta tables in Purview. When I scan the Fabric workspace in Purview, I could able to see only Pipelines and Notebooks present in that workspace it doesn't identified Lakehouse tables as an asset. Prerequisites also done : Purview MSI granted with Contributor role access to that workspace in Fabric and Enabled Fabric Tenant level settings with Specific Security group (where Purview MSI as a member).
Please help me on this, how to identify Lakehouse tables as an asset and extract Metadata details of lakehouse tables in Purview. It will help me proceed with Data cataloging.

Lakehouse tables requires scanning with an SPN credential type. Create the SPN and register in Purview as a new credential for scanning Fabric and have the SPN added to the security group granted access in Fabric and you will be able to scan lakehouse tables. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/purview/register-scan-fabric-tenant?tabs=Scenario1#service-principal
