Purview Data Estate Insights API
Does anyone know if there is an API for working with the raw data from generated data estate insights? Things like getting data on daily/weekly/monthly users and common searches? I've used the Atlas API for working with entities, scanning, workflows, etc. but haven't seen documentation for working with insights.
Thank you for reaching out. While there is no generally available dedicated API to achieve this, there is some work currently in Preview which touches on self-serve analytics and insights. The goal is to empower end users who are interested in in data and insights to explore the data from various sources and churn insights. Self-Serve Analytics in Unified Catalog (Preview) | Microsoft Learn . Aside from the built in reporting, you may need to export data for further customer analysis but please take note of the work that is currently underway. I hope this helps.
