Does anyone know what the 'CS019-009' error means for eDiscovery premium jobs?
CS109-009 is a general impermanent failure code, and it occurs if any background job faces a temporary issue. The eDiscovery jobs namely: Search Preview, Export jobs, adding collections to Review Sets run asynchronously and depends on content indexing across Exchange, OneDrive, Teams as well as other background jobs in M365 estate. Possible causes of CS109-009: Temporary lock; resource retention across the data assets registered.
As this is a short-lived error, restart the job multiple times to get result which is the expected behavior. If it fails consistently on the same dataset or action, escalate to Microsoft Support with job ID and correlation ID. It is recommended to keep a track of the job ID and correlation ID before escalating to Microsoft Support.
