About how much taking effect time when create new Communication compliance policy
Hi, All
Anyone who knows how much it will take effect time about creating new Communication compliance policy in purview to scope users?
I've already created multi Sensitive Info types (SITs) under Classifiers supported by Microsoft.
Then I created a new communication compliance policy to Microsoft 365 locations as Exchange and Teams like below.
Then I set conditions using SITs which I've already created,
And followed all recommended actions to Overview page in communication compliance page, but
it will not apply to my environment, in this situation what should I do? Wait or modify policy.
Please give me a tip to control communication compliance policy.

The communication compliance policy needs at least 24 hours before it could take effect: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/purview/communication-compliance-policies#policy-templates.
For example, if you create an inappropriate content policy at 11:00 AM, the policy gathers communication compliance signals every 24 hours at 11:00 AM daily. Editing a policy doesn't change this time.
