Hello, we have the same issue with Power Query running indefinitely as of the 17 of April, 2024 in the evening. We use Western Europe as well. On the 19th of April I created a ticket to Microsoft, the ticket number 2404190050001396 but there is no response from Microsoft after the 2.5 days. It looks like the issue is transversal and not only affects us, I kindly recommend to log support tickets to Microsoft and put their numbers in that thread. To Microsoft support: please do something, because your product components are failing now and we see no evidence that there is a progress.

It was an issue in the service, it's fixed now. At least of East US for me.
