Load Data from Windows File System to SQL database using Data Factory

Hello Folks,

 

I would like to Load data from windows file system to SQL database using Data Factory.

 

For this, I understand,

1. I have to create a linked server for File system - which I am not sure, how?

2. I have to create a linked server for SQL database - Created.

 

Could you please provide information for this? Thanks in advance.

    PumpkinSpice 

     

    First of all, you need to create Self Hosted IR and Install on your machine then you have to create Linked service of file system type and select Selfhosted IR so you can select your file from your machine's folders and copy into SQL server database.
