    Hi Norwen

I've had experienced this with Visual Studio Enterprise/Professional subscriptions.
In my case the problem was this pandemic moment that we are living now, then some resources was not able to be created in some regions.

Hi CasperA1ant  how are you, fine?

      I hope So!

CasperA1ant  Which Azure Service are you trying to create on Azure South Africa West region?

Have you ever checked up on Azure Health service to see if there is some problem on this specific region?

You can use Azure Service Health to check if there is some planned maintenance or some problem with Azure Services, filtering by region, subscription and service.

      Below is one example:

Let me know if i could help you.

      Hi Casper,

I opened a support ticket with MS and this is what they mentioned to me last year.

" Our two Azure regions in South Africa offer differentiated offerings for our customers. South Africa North is available for customer deployments and resources in this region can be paired with the geographically separated South Africa West for regional disaster recovery while maintaining data residency requirements.

Customers are not able to deploy standalone resources into South Africa West but are able to replicate their own data to South Africa West via geo-redundant storage options in the Azure portal. "
