Exchange admin center Delegation permissions error
- Oct 24, 2024
I ended up fixing this issue by contacting Microsoft Support and after multiple screen share sessions with multiple technicians it ended up being an issue on Microsofts end, Admin permissions were not being correctly applied to the Admin user. They fixed it on their end and it has been fine since.
Jimmy-Stuffins I've had one doing screenshots, and nothing. It usually takes days before I hear anything. God forbid you miss their call, you're done . Anyway, they had another admin remove my Global Administrator rights, wait at least 15 minute and add them back. No luck there either, but it's something to try. It doesn't seem like it should be this difficult. You see lots of posts with this problem, it seems incredibly difficult to fix. It happens out of the blue for no reason, and I'm at over a month with no resolution.

Wondering if that is related.- Systemix_SolutionsJun 25, 2024Copper Contributor
Hi All,
I can confirm this issue is all of a sudden occurring throughout a few M365 tenants of ours, where no changes have been made to them and were working properly a few weeks before. We have a ticket open with Microsoft Support and it has been going nowhere for over a month now with no resolution in sight.
Something tells me that this is a cascading issue within the "Organization Management" permissions for GA accounts within Exchange permissions, which might need to be reset back to their appropriate values; however editing/trying to make changes to them results in an issue that cannot be saved. Previously, this was circumvented using the Exchange Online 2.0.x PowerShell module using the 'Enable-OrganizationCustomization' command cmdlet, however since then, this has been depreciated.
If anyone has come across a resolution to this, please share them with us here.
Thank you all in advance.
