Which version of Microsoft 365 works with Access - specifically removing the locking file?

What version of Microsoft 365 has the fix to properly close Microsoft Access?&nbsp; When I use Docmd.Quit Access stays open in the background and has to be shut down via Task Manager.&nbsp; Alternately, the locking file doesn't disappear when they exit Microsoft Access.&nbsp; What version fixes these issues? Thanks.

Recommend you use Application.Quit instead. It should work in all versions of M365

However, if you are having to use the Task Manager, it suggests there are other issues in your Access app. First make a backup then check it compiles. Then decompile it to clear any corrupted compilation code. Finally compact and recompile.

ABGLaura&nbsp;That's probably a problem specific to your installation of MS 365. Try repairing or even reinstalling it.&nbsp;You can find lists of Bug Fixes here and here.
