Hi,
Meanwhile, Microsoft has disabled the change that caused this problem. After quitting and restarting Access, it should be back to normal.

Can't figure out how my user got 2604 build 19929.20032 installed. I went into the File \ Account and tried to use the Join Insider button to unjoin. But acted like it wanted me to sign up rather than cancel. So I'm at a lost.

I'm trying to debug the same problem. Somehow my user got on the preview channel and 2604 build 19929.20032 got installed.
I too am using DNS less connection to SQL Server. Keeps popping up with the SQL Server login box which should NEVER happen with the way it's programmed.
I'm going to try and roll back to a 2603 build and confirm that's it.

Also highly recommended to move the user off of preview channel. That is not a safe place for Production environment.
Btw, MSFT has been made aware of this issue.

Rolling back to a 2603 worked.
Can someone please point me to how to UNjoin this user from the Insider program?
