Tables Lost from Database After Copying
I'd highly suspect a user/usage error.
Can you detect any pattern to the missing tables?
What software are they using?

Daniel_Pineault I agree with your suspicions but I have an angry client that thinks our software doesn't work. Some databases lost a few tables and others up to 20. Each appeared to be independent from the others. The client got an the “Automation Error” was likely caused by the missing tables and then ran Compact and Repair which didn't help. He then attached to another database and had a similar problem.
This is Office Access 365. For information on our software see https://geotech.com/products/envirodata Both the front and back end are Access MDB files.

Daniel_Pineault I just checked the logs and found a number of events over the last month that read:
An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk1\DR1 during a paging operation.
This does not sound good. I am not sure if an occasional error is normal or something to be concerned about. I am wondering this means I need to replace the OS disk in Azure but I am not even sure how to do that other than rebuilding the VM.
