Microsoft access Navigation Pane will not expand to a useable size
Hi,
We've had many threads with this problem. After Microsoft tried to fix it, they became less frequent but obviously there are some flavours of the problem left. In cases where the usual methods (search bar, F11) didn't help, people reported that one of these helped:
1) Create a new database, change the size of the navigation pane in the new db and only then import all objects from the old db with the narrow pane.
2) If you have another computer then copy the db and open it there. The pane usually is ok there. So you can resize it a bit and then try to reimport and use it on the original system.

I have the same problem with a new blank database. I am unable to resize the navigation pane.
My desktop is out for repair, but as soon as I get it back, I will create a new DB with it and attempt to open it my laptop to see if there is any difference in behavior.
At this point Access is unusable on my laptop.
