"Could Not Lock File" - Mapped Drive Error potentially?
Hi everyone, I am fairly new to access and have setup a database on a mapped network drive. I can open my DB from the drive but when someone else tries to open the DB it comes up with the error "...
Split your db (Front End/Back End).
Make sure you use UNC path when Linking the back end db.
Put the back end db to Shared folder (give user Everyone to have all "Rights" to the folder).
Give each Users a Copy of the Front End db.
