cannot view Access 2010 files with Access 2016 Runtime

I have some Access 2010 *.mdb files. I want to view them , not edit, on a laptop which does not have Microsoft Office installed.   I downloaded and installed Access 2016 Runtime from here : https:...

    Hi,

     

    With the runtime you don't see the navigation pane with the database objects but only the custom user interface = forms and reports.

     

    Does the application have a startup form? Then this should open in the runtime.

Ah. Thank you.

I thought I would be able to see the database objects ... the tables.
