- nicoleethierOct 31, 2024Copper ContributorI tried to find my original conversation to check for updates and I couldn't remember how I found it. Trust me, I find it frustrating when people ask for questions because they can't bother to look themselves. I try very hard NOT to do that. I am new to this forum and again had no intentions of being rude.

You’ll find your original thread at:
https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/all/combining-queries-with-different-data/f287174d-a357-471d-9e4a-3f6e9bd64ad5
As you’ll see the consensus there was that you either need a UNION query, or you continue to use two subreports. In the latter case you might have to amend the sorting and grouping in the report to achieve the result you want.
As regards a UNION solution the key thing here is that we see the SQL statements of your two existing queries on which the subreports are based.
I think what would help us most in advising you appropriately, however, would be if you could post a copy of your file, stripped of any personal or otherwise sensitive data, to a globally shared folder on OneDrive or similar. We’d then be able to download the file and be in a far better position to advise you constructively.

Just a few points regarding your question.
- It seems you have the same data in two places. That is normally not a good idea. Can you explain more about the background?
- In order to compare 2 lines, they must have a common unique identifier. That is not the case here. FarmerID is not unique anyway.
- What if there is data in both queries, but different? Like 6 acres vs 7 acres.
Posted in both forums, just make sure 😁
