It's finally time to upgrade (10yr PC)

Quick context: I built this PC back in 2016 for the purpose of being able to make music with minimal lag. I had a teen budget at the time and went into debt to get this $1000 PC together. It was a beautiful starter custom that has stood the test of time for going on a decade now (I swear I blinked and it's already been a decade!). Anyways, I've gotten into content creation since then and as it turns out, what I built back in 2016 doesn't hold up to today's standards anymore. I spoke with a friend who is really into computers on possibly upgrading it and he said it's possible. He was gonna send me RAM he wasn't using, but never did. I got some recommendations from Newegg that I'll mention below, but it was their A.I. tool and I feel there is some built-in "upsale" bias in there. So I'm not entirely confident in its choices. So I figured I'd come and just ask for some ideas.

Wow, it’s impressive that your PC built in 2016 has lasted nearly a decade—truly a testament to your craft and vision! Upgrading an older system to meet today’s content creation standards is definitely possible, and it can breathe new life into your machine without the need for a full rebuild. Since your main focus is on music production and content creation, key upgrades typically include RAM, storage, GPU, and possibly CPU and motherboard if they’re bottlenecks.
