I'm not a big fan of these 2 limitations in the terms of use: CDX tenants have an administrative user that should not be deleted or altered in any way. External domains are not to be connected to CDX tenants. For the 1st, I want to set my own password on the admin@ account. What's so wrong with that? You could reset it if you really need/want to get in there. This is not fair. For the 2nd, of course we want to test with custom domains! This is again no fair. The other thing - I've already added my custom domain in my VSE Azure Subscription which I've associated to my CDX tenant directory. In there, I'm testing out SMTP as a Service via Azure Communication Services. Again, of course I want to use my own custom domain, with DKIM, DMARC, SPF, etc. This is completely reasonable. Today I login to CDX to see if my ability to request renewal of my renewable tenant is available yet, and I can't even get in without accepting the new terms. But it says: " Violations of the CDX Terms of Use will result in the immediate deprecation of tenants as well as access to CDX without notice. By proceeding, you agree to the Microsoft Platform policies Accept and Continue " So I guess I have to go dismantle my stuff gracefully before I accept the terms. I had reset the password long ago on Admin, just knowing that-that particular term is ridiculous, but previously I don't recall the prohibition of custom domains. I really don't see what the problem is. Please can we take away these 2 points in the terms?Solved2.4KViews2likes4CommentsMicrosoft Canada Impact Awards 2023
We are excited to announce that self-nomination awards are now open for the FY23 Microsoft Canada Impact Awards. Celebrated annually at Microsoft Inspire, these awards recognize outstanding success and innovations across Canada and the diverse partner ecosystem. Partners can submit to a variety of categories that help us recognize the innovative technology solutions that our partners have created to address; their customer’s business challenges, recognizing our partner’s hard work of helping customers digitally transform, driving remote solutions, migrating customers to the cloud, skilling their employees, and getting creative with their digital marketing. Additionally, for the third year in a row we will have a mixture of metric-based awards in addition to the traditional partner self-nominated awards. The metric-based awards do not require partners to submit a nomination, saving you time and effort. Microsoft Canada created a process to determine winners based on specific criteria, which is outlined in each award description. These awards allow us to not only recognize more partners for all their efforts over the past year, but also highlight additional Microsoft priorities. Impact Award finalists and winners receive recognition from Microsoft and the partner community and are celebrated in a variety of ways at Microsoft Inspire . This year’s Microsoft Inspire will again be digital, giving us the incredible opportunity to include partners from around the globe.
