Azure USBX hub issues with full speed devices
We have a project using Azure USBX with a STM32H7 processor and a Microchip 2514 USB HUB. The STM hcd driver is initialized and the software initializes UsbX support for a hub, multiple CDC ACMs, a HID Keyboard and MSC devices. All the devices can be discovered and work as expected. There is an issue when a FULL SPEED device (CDC ACM and HID Keyboard) is unplugged and then plugged back in again causes the USB bus to become unresponsive. The only current solution is to reset the USB2514 Hub. Has anybody seen this or have any suggestions?Solved347Views0likes1CommentROS 2 on Windows
Super cool to see the progress on ros2 since I ran it last ... what milestones in the next couple months are there on Windows / Azure that we can look out for? The Certified for Azure IoT Program (Device certification) is a hardware certification program that is open to any hardware partners who want to certify their device hardware covering spectrum of intelligent edge devices (sensors , gateway, server class workstations etc.) by validating a device works with Azure IoT Hub, Azure IoT Edge, and IoT Plug and Play (Public Preview). It allows partners to rapidly validate, list device capability and gain global visibility to Microsoft customers. Read More : Opera Crypto Wallet Certified IoT Hub devices, IoT Edge devices and pre-certified IoT Plug and Play devices get listed in the Device Catalog which allows customers to discover IoT Hub Device , IoT Edge Devices and Plug and Play devices that work with Azure. The catalog help to identify certified devices to customers, it includes Get Started document which is a step by step instruction for connecting the device to Azure IoT , Device Data sheets and Buy links to buy listed hardware for evaluation and creates a channel for partners to reach and engage new customers. Visit for tech related news and updates : Stech 24/7 Types of Certification IoT Hub Devices Certification IoT Hub Certification help customers and partners to ensure the device was tested to work with Azure IoT technology. IoT device gets validated for IoT hub primitives like Device to Cloud, Cloud to Device, Device Twin and Direct Methods. This is a baseline certification requirement which applies to any devices (IoT Edge or IoT Plug and Play) to ensure devices are provisioned to IoT Hub securely and capable of sending meaningful data. With the recent announcement that ThreadX will be managed by the Eclipse Foundation under the MIT license, my team is interested in how that affects our current licenses. Our current license for an older version of ThreadX doesn't apply to new products, so how are we supposed to obtain a new license using the older version of ThreadX for these new products. Will the MIT license retroactively apply to older versions of ThreadX?Solved528Views0likes1CommentAZURE IOT HUB DEPRECATION
Hi, I have a query on Azure iot Hub, Will Azure iot Hub get deprecated sooner? Hello friends. I am new to azure but not new to iot-dev. My question is more of a theoretical nature. We as a bussines in the industry wanna build a solution for our costumer to control and track some sensor data of their device. At the end of the journey we wanna offer to our costumers the following: user A can login with their account and track and and controll their specific devices. User B can do the same with their devices and so on. We as a service manage to „add“ their devices to the iot-world (with a hardware device that we have build) and manage the useroles to their devices. For this we will collect a small fee/month my question now. Has someone exp. If azure iot center is the right tool to follow? Our first plan (until now) is to build our own webapplication. But from what i researched until now about azure center,m should have everything what we need to fullfill our goal? has anyone thoughts about it? I am happy to hear them thank youSolved1KViews0likes2CommentsIoT edge package on linux

Hello community, I'm currently working on an Intel Atom E39340 platform with Windows 10 IOT 2021 LTSC installed on it. The Read and Write methods of the I2cDevice class everything are working just fine. Nevertheless, one of my sensors needs a Write+Read access (Start / Write / Restart / Read /Stop) to access some registers. When I use the WriteRead(byte[] writebuffer, byte[] readbuffer) I get a System.Argument.Exception:'The parameter is incorrect'. (which is really weird because its compiling). When I use the WriteReadPartial(byte[] writebuffer, byte[] readbuffer) method to get the error code the result is 4 (i.e Unknown error). Overall, nothing happens on the I2C bus. I have explored the online documentation but can't find a lead... https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/uwp/api/windows.devices.i2c.i2cdevice.writereadpartial?view=winrt-22621 Does anyone has ever experienced this ? What's the best way for an external application to read data from IoT Hub?
Hi everyone! I have been studying integration between IoT Hub to external applications and the available endpoints and SDKs. AFAIK, the current suitable way to externally read telemetry data from IoT Hub is through the Event Hub compatible built-in endpoint. Besides that, the example I found use it. Like this one: Real-time data visualization of your IoT hub data in a web app | Microsoft Docs But, for this purpose, one would use the Event Hub SDK. See EventHubConsumerClient class | Microsoft Docs. I was wondering if we couldn't do the same using the Azure IoT Hub SDKs | Microsoft Docs. From the Git Hub repository, I can only see C2D messaging support, but taking a deeper look at ServiceReceiver class | Microsoft Docs I thought that maybe this is an alternative. Does anyone has some info to share about this? Pros, cons? If my understanding is right?Solved958Views0likes2CommentsThreadX CAN BUS support

I have the Azure Precept connected to a Verizon Jetpack and i am running the object recognition demo and streaming the video to my laptop. The object detection is running on the Precept and the video stream should only be local but i am using up more then 20gb of cellular data in a few hours. What is happening? Why is so much data going out over the cellular connection? Also after i reached my 50gb limit the data seemed to be throttled and the video stream started to freeze up. It acted like the video stream was going over the cellular connection and being throttled.Solved1.2KViews0likes2CommentsHow do I get multiple records in target period?

Dear Percept team, what is the best/easiest way to redeploy the Azure Eye module? For testing purpose and to see if I can build everything up manually again, I deleted azureeyemodule in my IoT Hub. I haven't seen this module in the marketplace and if I try to add the module using the image "mcr.microsoft.com/azureedgedevices/azureeyemodule:preload-devkit" I'd also have to add the container create options. The bindings, port forwarding etc. may be inferred by looking e.g. at this sample but I was wondering if there is a deployment manifest JSON published somewhere or what is in general the recommended way to redeploy the "standard" modules on the Percept device?Solved1.2KViews1like3CommentsSend Data From IoT Central to Event Hub
Hi everyone, I am currently trying to export data from my IoT Central (where i have configured some active devices) to my event hub, but the problem that I am having is that nothing actually happens, no data are sent to the event hub. I have run 2 tests: - using a console app and the same connection string (with the send permission on) used in the IoT central data export, I sent to the event hub some json files and they were correctly processed by the hub -using the process data feature present in event hub I queried the iot central and I successfully retrieved the data i was looking for So if I got it right the problem is that the IoT central is not streaming data but is available only to be read. Do you have any suggestions to solve this? Thanks in advanceSolved1.2KViews0likes2Comments
