Tried to get PrintUP working the other day and I can get the printer registered in Azure and with UP however the Status is blank and Is accepting jobs is No. I thought the share would take a while to propagate but even after waiting a day, I was unable to add the printer to my machine (wouldn't discover anything).
I just did a firmware update on the printer this morning but that didn't fix anything. Do I need to remove and re-register the device?
Edit
I think I just fixed it - Under section 1.3 of the PrintUP guide, MFP Configuration Requirements, I verified that the two supposed defaults were set
- IPP Authentication must be set to "Inactive"
- Under Network Security, IPP port 631 must be set to "Open"
The first one was already Inactive however Port 631 for IPP was closed. After setting this to Open, I could see the Status of the printer (it also populated the Last Seen time and set Is accepting jobs to Yes".
The only other thing I did was under TLS security, disabled everything except 1.2. Not sure if that had any affect but it was worth checking as the documentation does comment on that too.
