uliwehner Maybe because (unlike in older models) my IM 3500 printer doesn`t have a dedicated tab for energy saving/sleep modes. 😉
And the only energy related setting I could find is this and it is already turned off:
System - General Settings - Energy Saving Recovery for Business Application: Off
That`s why I`m asking. And I`m asking here, because this is primarily an universal print related issue and this is the Ricoh / Universal print announcement. So my chances of getting "support" for this matter is way higher here than everywhere else. Cause all the Ricoh partners I have spoken to in the last six months weren`t even aware that this existed and were pretty much useless cause they tried to sell us different solutions and none of them understood: WE WANT TO GET RID OF LOCAL PRINTSERVERS.
If you can`t answer that question, no big deal. But I kind of hoped for someone from Ricoh support to help people here with their various issues/questions during the migration to Universal Print. Cause yes, your devices may support it (some, in some regions) now. But the documentation on how to set it up and configure it "properly" could be.... improved. 😉
But I`ll figure out. No worries.
