We launched the MSIX Tech Community in 2018 as one of the early communities.  As we continue to work with members of the community, we wanted to make some changes to make it easier for you to navigate and discover discussions and for us to better engage with you. As part of these changes, we have integrated the MSIX Tech Community with the Windows Tech Community.

Starting today, March 2nd, 2022, you can see the following updates to better align our communities:

  • The existing MSIX Packaging Tools, MSIX Deployment, Package Support Framework, and MSIX SDK discussion spaces will consolidate into a single MSIX discussion space in the Windows Tech Community.

  • Future MSIX blog posts will be published on the Windows IT Pro Blog in the Windows Tech Community. You can bookmark or subscribe to RSS feeds specifically for MSIX posts to easily keep up with all the MSIX news.

  • The MSIX feedback board will continue to be a dedicated space and move under the Windows Tech Community.

As part of this effort all the existing discussions, blogs, and ideas have been migrated to the new areas to preserve the community interactions to date. Any links you have bookmarked should automatically redirect.

Thank you everyone for participating in the Microsoft Tech Community. We look forward to continuing the conversation!

Instead of spending time on this marketing tomfoolery why not fix the MSIX protocol so folks not behind the Azure wall can use it.

    Another month wasted.
