FUJIFILM Business Innovation Corp. supplies innovative office products such as multifunction printers to customer globally. Cloud-based and mobile solutions and services from FUJIFILM Business Innovation helps customers to overcome document and communication challenges.

In partnership with Microsoft, FUJIFILM now offers Universal Print ready multifunction printers.

Organizations with Enterprise Windows or Microsoft 365 subscriptions can now easy print to FUJIFILM printers using Universal Print, whether they are in the office, at home or traveling. People only need an internet connection and authenticate to Azure AD, to be able to print. The network traffic will be protected, using secure HTTPS protocol. There is no need to install the corresponding printer driver for the FUJIFILM printers on the user’s device for people to print to the nearest accessible printer right away.

The printers from FUJIFILM Business Innovation support user authentication with Azure AD so people can use Universal Print to print safely without exposing documents to other users. Documents are stored on the printer’s storage and are released by the user thanks to the ‘Private Print’ feature of FUJIFILM Universal Print ready printers.

This enables people to print easily in any place outside of the usual workplace or print to a printer at the destination after submitting a print job from their office in advance, as shown in the illustration below.

How the printing process works with a Universal Print ready printer

The following list of models are Universal Print ready and can be registered in Azure AD through Universal Print portal by printer administrator for central management of printers within their organization, to significantly reduce the effort related to printer management:

Has anyone actually got this setup and working on an Apeosport C3070 or similar? We are finding no configuration / MUP registration options whatsoever and Fuji support don't currently have any information or training on it.

Note, I have native MUP working using other vendor equipment, this isn't a general question about how to get started with MUP.

This was a long time coming - sadly only on new machines with no support even for quite recent devices or A4 units. I wish Fuji would do like some other vendors and issue updated firmware.

I've just connected to my 3070 and tried to follow the steps listed above, however I am unable to find the options you have described. Does this need a software update to receive the updated instructions? Very annoying if so, as I am not able to perform a software update remotely on the machine...

Would it be possible to recieve the instructions directly, rather than finding them through the printer's hosted ISS page?

This should be easier in 2022....

    Dear UbiquitousRD,

No, you don't need any software update, because it is online manual.

Now, we updated it in Simplified Chinese/Traditional Chinese/Korean/Thai/Vietnamese, too.

If you are using those languages, could you try again?

If "Universal Print" is not found in step 5, please reload the web page, ignoring cached document with Shift+F5 for example.

    Dear GuofuLi,

I apologize for the late reply.

I’m afraid it is impossible to do.
