Completely trivial UI observation here, but since SSMS 20 has dropped the superfluous text label "Type the server name..." from the "Login" screen - which I like even though that counts for naught, why not standardise by doing the same on the "Connection Properties" screen (i.e. remove the "Type or select the name" text label)?
I do like the secure connection properties being brought up front and highly visible, as I have seen my fair share of security-unaware administrators panicking and wasting time thinking something's wrong with the service rather than them not being aware such settings exist. Being in-your-face as of SSMS 20 should at least act as a proactive cue. (Or perhaps I'm just voicing my naivety.)
Cheers,
Lain
