MicrosoftAdamHarmetz SharePoint agents are cool but they only fix one part of the problem right?
That's the content side of things, but what about the context? What if people share the context around that content in places like Teams channels (preferred), chats or emails? How to make sure that the agent has access to content AND context? I think that's something that is still missing and I see little progress from Microsoft.
Speaking of an ideal setting of asynchronous collaboration, teams would collaborate using Teams channels, sharing working files and context around their work within the same location. Then Copilot could have access to that information to expand it's knowledge. I haven't see a feature like this yet.
Not even a workaround exists, as in the M365 Copilot Chat we're unable to reference SharePoint folders or specific Teams or Teams channels.
