BertJansen Nate Tennant We are closing in on nearly 2 months since the last "official" response. Any updates for us? Will there be rule/flow alert options for external guest users who might not have Power Irritate licenses? Will there be rule/flow alert options for users with only read access to lists/libraries? What about deletes. What about document changes that don't update the metadata? What about "what changed" explanations? What about daily or weekly summaries of changes? This is a big turning point for our organization where we are seriously reconsidering our investment into Microsoft. Even CoPilot is telling me I'm right and should go elsewhere. It feels that notifications are a critical part of a Content Management System and that the non-solution provided so far does not meet the needs of the management part of a CMS. I assume that you have bosses that you report to - correct? Your customers (us) are having to report to our bosses that Microsoft *might, *maybe, have a solution to replace alerts - and frankly that isn't good enough. So far it seems that any solution will either involve us having to go in on more licenses or us asking our external partner agencies going in on more licenses. Which is just stupid when the solution already exists in SharePoint - just charge more dang money for SharePoint and don't mess with something that isn't broken. Add in Rules/flow options for those that want more granularity in their alert options (but so far, I haven't even seen that is possible with the offered non-solutions). Many of your customers need to know NOW what is or is not going to be part of the final solution so we can determine if the next 6 months are spent on duct tape to fix SharePoint back to where it was working fine...or building another solution elsewhere. Please do not string us along any further.
