MicrosoftAgreeing with everyone here asking for a way to make "Publish" the default button. If editors want to send news via email, they can always do it via "Share / Send to email" or "Promote / Send to email" afterwards. You don't have to make it the default for the publication process (aborting the second step is not a user-friendly suggestion).
The majority of news that we post in our intranet are NOT sent as emails, so for us the current default "Post and send" makes no sense and neither does the "Email preview" button. At this time you're just sending our editors in the wrong direction.
I really appreciate Sara_Cummings's (!!!) and GrahamKent's commitment to this comment section, but this totally could have been avoided by talking with your power users. Every intranet owner worth their salt would have raised their hand and argued against this new default.
