This feature is wanted - but however I tried to do a test sending, both to myself, and one to myself and a collegaue. However, it does not seem to appear in my inbox. It should not take many minutes and anything longer than 5-10 minutes is just wrong and i expect it not to work. I have now waited 15 minutes and still now sign of my test-emails..
I also hear that you Sarah is not a fan of e-mails and think this is outdated and a transition phase. I can tell you for my case we need to distribute and tell people about the news in BCC because we have a need to send in BCC and people can't be a member of the site distribution the news on of the same reasons that for the BCC - privacy for whos a member of a union.
The alternative is sending "Normal e-mails" that looks not that fresh and can't be update if something is corrected after sending the e-mail.
EDIT: The e-mail arrived after 30 minutes in my inbox. I would think that is rather a long time - why does it take that long ?
