Microsoft Planner integration with Viva Goals is here!

Announced at Ignite 2022, the integration of Microsoft Planner with Viva Goals is now available. This capability enables you to view your teams' Planner tasks and update the Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) in Viva Goals that relate to your Planner work. You can automatically track your team's progress towards your high-level key results based on the completion of day-to-day tasks in Planner.

    I have connected viva goals with planner and i'm able to choose the right task from planner. However what i can't see is when i do updates in planner, those don't show up in viva goals. How can i update the status in viva goals automatically?

    Hello, I echo the same view of having an OKR to integrate to a specific bucket within a plan. Whats the point of having a planner where you can have an overview of all the tasks but not having the ability to identify the tasks to match the OKR? 

     

    I will not use viva goals until this is sorted out. Having separate plans is administratively tough. I believe that duplicating buckets is not possible, can plans be duplicated? When I found that the OKR is unable to map to a specific bucket, I gave up using it. I like your product but the usability is not wonderful.

    I agree with d3c3po , having the ability to track a bucket would be extremely helpful so we don't have to have multiple plans just to track a single goal. However this is an amazing product PlannerTeam. Can't for the Projects integration to go live.

    we really need the integration to be able to track an OKR to a Bucket or a Task. At the moment we can only integrate to a whole Plan which is less helpful, is there a feature release coming to make it more granular? PlannerTeam
