- Easily manage agents across multiple tenants in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center: Now in public preview, multi-tenant agent management in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center empowers administrators to view and manage agents across the tenants they govern from a single experience. Administrators can view a consolidated agent inventory, add agents, install or block agents across eligible tenants, review tenant-specific risk and activity insights, and use the tenant switcher to move directly into a governed tenant without signing out or maintaining separate administrator accounts.
- Prepare customers for the updated Microsoft Copilot app: As of August 18, 2026, customers can access a simplified Microsoft Copilot app experience with clearer work and personal account indicators, a streamlined name and icon, and a web app move from m365.cloud.microsoft to copilot.cloud.microsoft. Users are redirected automatically, and security, compliance, and governance controls stay the same. Review the Microsoft 365 Copilot Partner FAQ and the PC announcement for more details. Confirm copilot.cloud.microsoft and *.cloud.microsoft are allow-listed before the transition.
- GitHub Copilot harness is now generally available in Microsoft Copilot Studio: The GitHub Copilot harness gives developers an additional orchestration option for building agents and workflows that require more advanced planning, coding-intensive work, and agentic execution. Existing Copilot Studio agents and deployments will continue to function as they do today, and developers can continue to create and manage agents using the Standard and Copilot Chat harness. Review the FAQ for more details about this harness and what it means for your agentic operations. You can also read the Copilot Studio pitch presentation and the Copilot Studio Cost Management guide for more information.
