This is about the 'New Outlook' article at https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/outlook-blog/new-outlook-for-windows-a-guide-to-product-availability/ba-p/4078895
Such a mess! You cannot change the names of products retrospectively and expect people to follow! I never bought or used anything called 'Classic Outlook', and I don't even know which product this refers to, but I'll bet /something/ I use will get buggered up soon.
* Once you have named a product, stick to it. Think of new names for new products
* Never name anything 'New'. There are towns that are 1500 years old still called Newtown: that should tell you something.
* Is Classic Outlook what I call Windows 10 Mail? That would correspond to the description in the article to a “Try the new Outlook” toggle...
* You should never have called Outlook.com that, when it was already the name of a program. You simply do not understand how confusing that is for old people.
* And its domain is actually live.com! It should be Microsoft.com. How can I teach my vulnerable customers to check URLs so they don't get scammed, when you yourselves indulge in such scam-like behaviour?
* Any chance you could run any such future changes past me first? I would be happy to oblige and would save thousands untold misery.
