Robert360 Hey Robert, as someone who created an account to speak my mind specifically for this frustrating issue and bonehead design because I was so perplexed at this forum Microsoft has created to cordon off discontent... I'll go ahead and also answer for euburrag and team, as they obviously are either laughing at us or have muted the thread from their side, and are not interested in responding to their customer. A shame because Eugenie's brimming optimism at the outset of this feature is simply to sell her own review. That's done and the team have moved on , they're sprint planning, searching for new exciting buzzword features which can help them in their case for their next promo. Or it could be that the phenomenal new search just isn't turning up our mails....or they just grabbed their popcorn and are simply enjoying trolling their users.
Heck I've tried even reaching out personally to euburrag ...*crickets*. Some years ago I was happy for the employees of MS when they announced they were eliminated https://blog.impraise.com/360-feedback/microsoft-throws-stack-ranking-out-the-window. I even knew a few folks there, and I think it did a lot to improve internal morale. Cutthroat competition among your own project team certainly would create a toxic internal culture.
Just to catch folks up if any are not aware...8 years ago, MS realized that stoking excellence by turning performance reviews into a gladiator match may not foster employee morale. Kudos Microsoft HR! These things may be cyclical...and if we're on a decade cadence, then there are only a couple more years and we'll need another corporate breakthrough. Perhaps this decade's improvement can be the groundbreaking policy of listening to the customer's product feedback? Hah...I jest...fat chance that will ever happen. They may have lost all that talent years ago in the ring.
