"Right click and copy paste": We are working quickly to add this capability back to the Search box
How was this removed in the first place?
"users were 28% more successful finding what they need in the search suggestions"
This user isn't. It's useful feedback to see if I have the search terms correct - that's why it was invented in the first place.
How do I turn progressive search back on?
I never, ever used "Show me what to do", so prioritising this over showing me the search results I actually want is 100% wrong for me.
Where's the option to turn this off?
"Outlook curates the results"
All "smart" features must come with a switch to turn them off. If I'm searching based on date, I want the most recent matching results first, not a guess at what Outlook thinks I should have been asking for.
As usual, this has the look of a feature which might work well on mobile with a limited interaction model, but is going to be annoying to desktop users. As someone who frequents the Teams UserVoice forums, it's clear that Microsoft have been working consistently to remove UI configuration options and functionality for professional users.
