It's utterly rude that when I open windows mail, it force opens in outlook on web. I have the 365 subscription and all but I don't like the Outllook app on pc. It's just too bloated and I prefer simple features. Mail is just perfect for me, everything I need. Anyway, for the heck of it I decieded to give the 'forced' outlook a try (btw, it should be illegal, maybe I should report to EU consumer rights and protection).
- It doesn't export the accounts. I have to do it all over again.
- I can't have more than 10 accounts. WHAT? Who are you to decide? Why do think I moved over to windows from the annoying 'we-know-what's-best-for-you' Apple?
- The reason, I gave it a try because Outlook app for android and iOS is my main mail app of choice. If only, the pc version was like that.
- It asks me for the feedback everytime I revery back to Mail, I provide them reason...only to never hear back from them
Finally, for Clipy sake at least assign a professional to this post, who can monitor and update the participants here of any replies from that professional...or have you 'CoPilot' do it.
UPDATE 1 May 2024...
- Good news that today I managed to add all my 14 accounts. So it seems like 10 accounts max limit has been removed.
- UI seems improved and roomy, with plenty of customisation. So I am happy with how little or how many features I want on display
- There is a bit of an eyesore 'status' bar at the bottom, posting updates on sync etc. It should be one of the above features, which we can choose to display or not.
- However, I still changed back to Windows mail because Outlook (new or 365) doesn't support swipes. I am too used to using swipes and gesture with Mail and Surface Pro 9. I guess, they will add touchscreen feature later. It is beyond my understanding why Microsoft will have this feature for Outlook on mac (none of which are touchscreen) than for the their own Surface devices (almost all of which are touchscreen).

Anyway, this shouldn't be a problem for those who don't care about swipes and gestures support. Definitely, worth a try now.
