Yes, Microsoft is pushing for everyone to go to subscription web apps. Many of us would rather not. But the latest iteration of Outlook (new) would only work with one account of mine. It did not want to work with a second account I have. I had Thunderbird at one time and used it for years until they upgraded it years ago. It jumbled up several folders with some emails lost and many duplicated. I went with Microsoft Mail for a while and when I got a new system with Win10 I started with Microsoft Mail until I could buy a copy of Outlook. It has worked fairly well AND with two accounts. Microsoft should have made the upgrade easier as in an upgrade like most software vendors do as in one that preserves compatability with the folders and accounts of the old system. Some of us care about basic functionality and not so much about exotic extra features.
